How do I submit a banner to the Hit4Hit.co.uk Banner Exchage?

Submitting a banner to the Hit4Hit.co.uk banner exchange is as easy as uploading a web page to your own website.

Follow these simple steps and won't go far wrong:

  1. If you haven't already signed up for a free banner exchange account, you can do so right here.
  2. Decide the size of banner you are going to use in your Hit4Hit.co.uk account. Click here to see example banner sizes
  3. Design your Jpeg or Gif banner ad in a software package such as Photoshop or Fireworks. If you're having trouble designing a banner for your website, Click here to drop us a line and we will design one for you. You can then use your banner on any other banner exchange you like as well as the Hit4Hit.co.uk banner exchange.
  4. Upload your banner to your website. For example, you may want to keep it in a banner directory: "http://www.theflowershop.com/banners". Once your banner is on your server you may want to test your banner in your browser by typing in the full URL to your banner, for example: "http://www.theflowershop.com/banners"/my-468x60-banner.jpg".
  5. Log in to your Hit4Hit.co.uk account.
  6. From your account homepage click "Create/Edit" next to your chosen banner ad size.
  7. Select the category that best suits your website.
  8. Enter a target URL. This is the target web address you would like people to visit when they click your banner.
  9. Enter your banner URL. This is the address of your banner ad on your website, for example: "http://www.yourwebsite.com/banners"/my-468x60-banner.jpg".
  10. Enter an alt tag for your banner. For example "TheFlowerShop.com - Free delivery on all online orders.
  11. Choose which days of the week you would like your banner to be displayed.
  12. Choose between which times you would like your banner to be displayed.
  13. Choose which countries you would like us to show your banner. Thi smay be useful if you sell a product online that you only distribute to a certain country.
  14. That's it, Click "Save Banner Changes" and you're done.
  15. We will then email you as soon as your banner is reviewed.

Next to each form field in the banner submission form is a help button which when pressed will display a popup displaying the related help file.
